And I love trees!

How do I start couponing?

Why do I use coupons like there's no tomorrow?

Basically, I got tired of robbing from the biweekly grocery money, and eventually my own spending money, just to satisfy our family's needs on toiletry items and meds. Our budget is $50/mo on anything falling within that category. I could never seem to stay under budget. I also hated running out to CVS to purchase an item we ran out of only to pay top dollar for it. Thus I began following the Krazy Coupon Lady. (Scroll down for her blog!) Learned their strategies, put them to practice, and realized we would never run out of toilet paper again! By building up a modest stockpile, I could make sure our family didn't run out of the basic needs, and we could save $$ at the same time! Truth is, I'm addicted. I can't seem to stop myself. But the best part is, when you find yourself bringing home free toothpaste, soap, even razors, you realize those are perfect items for stocking care packages to our Marines!
